OM Chair – Bla Station
‘Light and nimble, Johan Ansander’s new chair presents a generously slender seat supported by minimal construction. An expertly moulded piece of plywood turn the hind legs into an accommodating backrest. At only 4,5 kilos, OM is a pure lightweight chair both for hand and eye.
OM is reminiscent of classic furniture designs by the hands of Michael Thonet and Alvar Aalto with its simplicity and ingenious way of shaping wood. Made in European oak or ash; dyed colours are optional along with padded seats. ‘
